Ok, I know it's probably a little skewed, since the first time I weighed, I didn't give myself this advantage, BUT.... first thing in the AM, just having peed, and with only socks on.... I have so far lost: 7 pounds!!!!
SUPER JEALOUS!!!! and glad I found your cow! i thought you had quit on us!!! Congrats on the weight loss. 3 more pounds and you will be down one size. They say 10 pounds is equal to one size. oh, and be sure to watch oprah all week..it's all about her battle of the bulge

I and a friend started a private blog to keep up with one another's food etc. I keep telling my personal trainer to get one started or at least start talking to my friend and I. I have stepped up my exercise routine and I will be reading ahead (and posting this one your last post too) to be encouraged. We have a ladies conference in April and before that we have vacation for Spring Break and I want to feel and look much better than I do now!!! You are encouraging me sister! Chel
I am so glad that I came across your blog...congrats on the weight loss! I ost 64lbs during 2008...put ten of it back on during a trip through Europe this holiday...now trying to get back on the wagon as of today to lose another 40 (+ the ten I gained!). Thanks for the inspiration I needed!
Inspired by my friend Chrissy B., I decided to do the 12 week Body for Life (BFL) challenge. When I see those anonymous before and after pics, I find them hard to believe. However, after talking to a personal friend who went through the challenge and taking a good look at my body, I decided the time is now. At first I thought... how crazy am I to start this right before the holidays? But then I realized that I am a genius! It is the PERFECT time to start! Before all that sludge enters my body. I have tried willpower. It works for about 5 minutes. And then the bad habits start, which I accepted as a fact of my life, rather than a bad habit. The BFL book encourages you to keep a journal, and I thought... what better way to record my experience than a blog!! Told you I am a genius! ;) I am hoping this blog will serve as a bit of accountability and a way to look back and see what I have achieved.
Some call me a basketball widow, but I look for the blessings in being married to a coach, who happens to be a wonderful man, husband and father. I stay busy by blogging about children, parenting, crafting, Christianity, photography, blogging, family life, my sweet granny in heaven who is my inspiration, and oh yeah, a little bit of basketball.
